Tented Lodge
Each of the 17 colonial-style tents offer a four-poster double bed and en-suite bathroom with indoor bath and outdoor shower. The Luxury Tents are set back with partial views of the river and surrounding mountains. Deluxe Tents are closer to the river with stunning bushveld and river views. Executive Suites have a separate lounge and their own splash pool whilst Family Tents include three sofa-beds in a separate lounge for up to 3 children (no splash pool). Each Suite includes a mini-bar, nespresso coffee machine, dual electric blanket, heater/air-con and your own private deck with chairs. All are connected by a wooden walkway and lead directly to the main restaurant and communal rim-flow pool. A golf caddy is readily available for added convenience.

Manor House
Dating back to the 1800’s and with just 7 rooms, there is a sense of charm and exclusivity. The Manor House is located separately,away from the main communal areas, and looks directly onto Botlierskop Safari plains with its own rim-flow pool. Luxury Rooms offer views across the field, which is frequently visited by plains game. Rooms include an en-suite bathroom with shower, TV and patio. Stable Rooms are located behind the Manor near to the stables, with partial views across the plains, an en-suite bathroom with bath & shower, patio but nb no TV.

Bush Villas
The latest addition to Botlierkop Bush Villas offer 6 tucked-away, self-catering villas immersed in nature. On arrival, you'll travel by safari vehicle to your room. The 2 Bedroom Villas (sleeping 4) overlook a small, yet active, waterhole and include a master bedroom and loft twin room for children, a cool splash-pool and BBQ area. The Luxury 3 Bedroom Self-catering Villa, which sleeps 6, doesn’t have a splash pool but does enjoy its own wooden deck and BBQ area with water-hole views. The main bedroom, with studio bedroom and loft room are all en-suite. The Superior 3 Bedrooms Villa (sleeps 6) includes a splash-pool and enjoys magnificent views across the waterhole. Villas are spacious and fully-equipped with all you need for a ‘home-away-from-home’ bush experience. All villas include aircon, kitchen, lounge, outdoor fire-pit, indoor fireplace, lounge with TV and landline.

With 4 of the Big 5 on the reserve, guests can enjoy a plethora of bush activities which operate from the Tented Camp Day Centre; choose from morning and afternoon game drives, riding safaris and Bush walks. You can even walk with lions.  In between game drives, why not relax in one of the deck-chairs at the main pool, from where you can soak up the valley views before taking a dip to cool off. Botlierskop’s spa is situated on the river-bank and offers an array of treatments. For outdoor exercise, there are tennis courts open for hire throughout the day. Reception will gladly assist with activity and restaurant reservations.

Children aged 6yrs+ are allowed at the Tented Camp. Luxury Tents can accommodate 1 extra bed, or for larger families Family Suites sleep up to 3 children.

At Manor House, children aged 6yrs+ are welcome. Family Rooms offer a separate lounge with 2 sleeper couches, patio, TV and views across the safari plains.

location

Approximately 4.5 hours from Cape Town Botlierskop lies between Mossel Bay and George. The lodge is accessible from the R62 or Garden Route with a short 16km of gravel road to the welcome gate. The Bush Villas are accessed via Great Brak approx. 27km away from the main lodge.
