The secluded Lagoon Lodge features 5 Suites and a communal lapa with plunge pool, laid out amongst century-old milkwood trees. 3km away, by the 1892 Spookhuis (main building which now houses a Deli) there are 4 spacious, self-catering cottages offering practical budget accommodation, yet still benefitting from the beautiful setting, where family and friends can barbeque the night away under star-studded skies.

Lagoon Lodge features 5 stand-alone safari-style suites, woven in to an ancient Milkwood grove with glass and stone walls opening up onto beautiful views of the mountains and lagoon. A cooling fan is available for Summer, and a fireplace for Winter nights alongside complimentary tea & coffee facilities. Please note Lagoon Lodge is located 3km from the main property.
The self-catering cottages are perfect for groups or families. Milkwood 1 sleeps 3, Milkwood 2 sleeps 4 adults + 2 children, Milkwood 3 sleeps 4 adults + 4 children, whilst Duminy sleeps 9. The cottages all have kitchens, living rooms, indoor fireplaces, outdoor patios and BBQs, and are serviced daily.

Guests at Lagoon Lodge can take advantage of a large plunge pool with views over the lagoon on warm days.
A plethora of activities are on offer (they differ slightly depending on the season) and most are included for Lagoon Lodge guests. Options include boat cruises and kayaking, guided bird and nature walks, guided quad-bike tours and 4x4 beach excursions (whale watching in season). Guests can also explore the nature reserve independently with Mosaic’s rented bicycles.

A stay at Lagoon Lodge includes all meals, served at the Lodge Lapa. Dinner is a 3-course set menu prepared with organic vegetables from the garden and local seasonal ingredients.
The Mosaic Lagoon Cafe, at 1892 Spookhuis, is open 11am - 3pm and provides home-baked goodies as well as additional items such as olives, cured meats, cheese platters and award winning wine. Picnic baskets are also available and meat / salads for barbecues can be pre-ordered for those self-catering in the Cottages. Otherwise, the nearest place to buy food is Stanford, a 15 minute drive away. Please note you will need full supplies as nothing is provided in the cottages, although the Management will stock the fridge on prior request!

Children of all ages are welcome, although those 8 years & over will be able to make the most of the activities on offer. A combination of on-site activities and further options a short drive away, will keep guests of all ages busy throughout the year.
In addition a small selection of toys and games are available in the Lapa at the Lodge.
Pre-booked child minding can be arranged for an additional fee and bespoke meals are available at Lagoon Lodge.
The Lagoon Lodge Family Suite has a double bed and space for 2 single mattresses on a raised platform, suitable for young children sharing their parents' room. Alternatively the Cottages offer flexible accommodation with more space and self-catering facilities.

Mosaic is located between Stanford and Hermanus in the Overberg and set on 933 hectares of private land, with fragrant fynbos all around. It is just 2 hours east of Cape Town and 40 minute drive from fantastic wineries and Hermanus, host to some of the world’s best land-based whale-watching in season (June - November).
