There are 4 Luxury Bedrooms, with interiors themed on ‘Colonial African Chic’, including air-conditioning, outdoor showers, private wrap around decks and fireplaces for chilly nights. For those seeking privacy, Little Tuningi, which sleeps up to 9, comes with a pool and private vehicle (number of suites dependent on requirements).
All rooms are connected by wooden walkways, but separated from the next providing peace and privacy.

The ‘Colonial African chic’ main thatched lodge offers a sumptuous lounge, a spacious dining room and a well-stocked bar with an impressive rim flow pool that overlooks a watering hole, all interlinked by a sweeping wooden deck that leads to the boma area. For guests who battle to divorce themselves from technology in the bush, they are able to watch satellite TV from the bar, and connect with the “outside world” with Wi-Fi in the lounge.
Each day brings something different, as you explore the endless fascination of Africa’s wildlife in an open-air Land Cruiser, in the morning & afternoon. Exciting walking safaris is also offered (16 – 60 years only).

Delicious meals are served in the cosy dining room in the Main House or in their unique boma perfectly set under an old Fig Tree overlooking a very active waterhole.

Children of all ages are welcome at the Lodge, but only children 5 & over can join the main game drives (they will have an initial game drive to check behaviour and as long as all is well, they can continue to join older siblings /adults!). There are special game drives for younger children or guests can book a private game drive vehicle / Little Tuningi for an additional charge. Afternoons include storytelling, treasure hunts, games and puzzles, arts and crafts as well as baking opportunities (e.g. pizza’s and cup cakes). Children also receive a Nature workbook and certificate.
Up to one child under 12 can share their parent's Suite. Tuningi is also one of the very few Lodges to offer 2 sets of interconnecting suites with expansive central sitting room and deck accommodating up to 6 people. Little Tuningi , comprising of a Family Suite and an additional Suite alongside a privage pool and vehicle, is ideal for extended families or friends travelling together.
Dinner for young children can be arranged at an earlier time or served in your room.
