    Tented Suites

Decorated in vibrant colours and African textures, each of the six double-occupancy safari-tent-style rooms features a private outdoor shower, a lavish handcrafted-mosaic indoor bath and raised private viewing decks. The suites are equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fans to keep you cool during the summer and under floor heating and fireplace for the winter months.

    Nare & Safari Suites

The Nare and Safari Suites are ideal for families or small groups seeking privacy and exclusvity. The Nare Suite, which can accommodate 6, offers 2 rooms on the ground floor and an upstairs loft room. The Safari Suite can accommodate up to 8 guests with 2 double rooms and 2 twin rooms, including an upstairs loft room. Both suites boast a plunge pool and include a private game drive vehicle.

    Starbed Suites

The two new Starbed Suites are the epitome of private romantic safari accommodation. Set over two levels, these luxury suites are ideal for honeymooners and special occasions. Striking bursts of colour, authentic decor, and luxurious finishes reflect style, class and sophistication with Jaci’s bushveld twist. With a choice of sleeping indoors or under the African sky, each suite boasts two king-size beds (one on the roof under the stars), outdoor showers and indoor bathrooms, as well as lounge areas, a private safari bar and viewing deck.

    Main Lodge

The ‘old’ Main Lodge was the heartbeat of Jaci’s Safari Lodges for 17 years, and has warmly and proudly welcomed a great many guests but we love the bold, refreshed, upgraded and spectacular new Main Lodge! The new building features a new-and-improved lounge, fireplace, bar, kitchen and dining areas, all reflecting an authentic South African atmosphere.

With no telephones or TV's Jaci's allows you to switch off completely and enjoy the wilderness. Guests are encouraged to use the communal areas for drinks and relaxation (although drinks can be ordered for your room and kettles are available on request).

  • facilities & activities

Facilities at the lodges include a main lounge with fireplace, games room with table tennis, foosball, a pool table and a wide selection of board games. The lodge also features a gym and spa treatments can be arranged on request (for an additional charge).

There is a cooling jungle pool (2 at Safari Lodge), close to the banks of the River. Both the Nare and the Safari Suite also have private plunge pools.

Game drives, guided walks (adults only) and use of the gym and games room are complimentary at Jaci's. Spa treatments are charged additionally.

  • dining

Atmospheric areas for eating and drinking have been created at both Lodges, with open kitchens, and outdoor Boma’s for eating under the stars. The Bar at the Safari Lodge also has a juke box for lively occasions!

  • family

The camp has been pioneering family safaris for many years, offering activities such as children’s game drives and bush play areas. Children from 6 years can join family game drives while those 5 & under will participate in jungle drives. In-between the safari activities, there is a Jungle Gym with trampoline and playroom with a selection of toys and games such as table tennis and foosball. Alternatively, there are board games in the main Lodge area to use during the day or in the evening.

Jaci's are flexible when it comes to family dining. For young children 5 & under early dinner is usually served around 6pm. Older children can join their parents for dinner in the boma or eat earlier. Jaci's will also arrange family dinners if guests prefer. Along with a child-friendly menu, the chefs will meet with guests to discuss the children's likes and dislikes!

The Tented Suites can accommodate a maximum of 2 children aged 6 – 12 years on stretcher beds, sharing with adults. For children 5 & under sharing with parents, they would need to be accommodated in either the Nare or Safari Suite, which are also ideal for families who would like separate rooms within the same building.
