Etosha & The Caprivi Strip, Namibia
Etosha, one of Africa's largest game reserves, is renowned for its white saltpans, originally formed over 120 million years ago when land movement drained an inland lake. Fringed by waterholes and woodland, the area sustains a very large concentration of plains game, including the rare Black-faced Impalas, and the predators that predictably follow. From the shimmering surface, distorted living images appear, giving weight to the myth and legend that surround this dramatic destination- one we greatly recommend for those keen on a unique safari experience.

The Caprivi Region is a culturally and environmentally fascinating strip of land in the north-eastern corner of Namibia. The wetland area is sanctuary to over 400 bird species and herds of free-roaming elephants, which cross the rivers between neighbouring countries. The area is home to many small villages and one large town, Katima Mulilo. Rural life is much the same as it was hundreds of years ago.
