There are 24 air-conditioned en-suite rooms and suites located in villas set within the extensive grounds including those in the Maison Jnane Tamsna, further large rooms in Dar Ylane and Maison Jnane Salmia and suites in the Maison Mousafir and Pavilion. All are individually and eclectically designed with colourful woven rugs and objects d’art. Whilst a safe for valuables is provided, please do not anticipate a TV, phone or the availability of room service. Discreet fridges are however available in the upstairs corridors and these can be stocked with favourite drinks on request.

There are plenty of ways to pass your time at Jnane Tamsna. Play tennis, maybe have a massage or reflexology treatment or enjoy a relaxing swim at one of the five lovely swimming pools dotted around the grounds. Outside the gates, the Palmeraie is perfect for a morning jog or cycle ride. A short drive takes you to riding stables and a choice of three golf courses.
The lovely shady carob and fig trees provide Jnane Tamsna’s organic version of a yoga studio, with private and group sessions on offer. The hotel also offers nutritionist led retreats, in keeping with their emphasis on a holistic approach to well-being.

Jnane Tamsna’s lovely table d’hôte restaurant, with a relaxing dinner party ambiance, serves delicious set menus for lunch and dinner (reservation required). The emphasis is on fresh, local produce, including fruits and vegetables harvested daily from the organic garden.

With acres of walled gardens to explore as well as pools and tennis courts, older kids will be gone from dawn till dusk while younger ones will enjoy the many organised activities on offer, including magic shows, cooking lessons, gardening and camel rides. The garden and pool layout is such that parents do not need to worry about children disturbing other guests- the holy grail of any family holiday!

Located in the Palmeraie, a 15 minute drive from the souks, Jnane Tamsna is perfectly located for guests who want to be close to Marrakech, but who prefer the cooler temperatures and calmer pace of the Palmeraie.
