This eco-chic boutique hotel is conveniently located in the popular suburb of Melrose, just a short stroll from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Originally a private residence, the property was transformed into a hotel in the early 2000’s by James Peech with modern art installations providing a design impact. This city-centre retreat is ideal for a stopover post long haul flights thanks to its lush gardens and pool area, ensuring you are refreshed for your South African adventure. Alternatively stay longer and gain an insight in to the history and culture of South Africa by visiting the Apartheid Museum or perhaps taking a Soweto Tour.

The hotel features an outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers, set amidst two acres of mature gardens, ideal for relaxing after your long flight; choose a book from the library to help you unwind further.

The sixteen bedrooms eschew the norm, with the original part of the property, the main house, having two ‘House Heritage Rooms’ whilst the remaining rooms are scattered around the hotel’s lush gardens as ‘Luxury / Classic Rooms’ and more expansive ‘Peech Suites’ with patios and terraces overlooking the pretty setting.
There is also the two bedroom Peech Villa connected by a central lounge / TV area ideal for families.
All rooms at The Peech are en-suite and include unlimited WiFi, air conditioning, satellite TV, ‘Raindance’ showers and separate baths.
