Langkawi
The Danna Langkawi Resort & Beach Villas

The Danna is located on the beautiful white sand bay of Pantai Kok adjacent to the Marina, bringing the best of both worlds – plenty of opportunity for R&R, but with the buzz and glitz of local restaurants and yacht living nearby too!

The contemporary colonial styled rooms all boast a private balcony so you can best enjoy the views of the courtyard, sea, marina or surrounding hills.  The largest infinity pool on the island is a big draw, whilst the extensive Spa and beach are equally popular.  Interesting dining options range from Mediterranean to Malay, which can be sampled in a variety of delightful settings.

Facilities & Activities

The Danna’s three-tier pool is central to the facilities of the resort, popular with adults and children alike.  There’s also an outdoor hot tub and children’s pool.

The Spa features nine treatment rooms with panoramic views and guests are often offered complimentary shoulder massages on check-in (please enquire at time of booking).  A Gym is also on site for those looking to maintain their training schedule too.

Resort activities include eco-friendly watersports such as kayaking or luxury Ceclo electric pedal boats.  You also have the opportunity to explore the island by bike, which are provided on a complimentary basis for guests.

Dining

The Danna’s main restaurant, Planter’s, enables you to start your day on a great footing, serving a fantastic buffet spread including Malaysian, Chinese and Western dishes.   Later on in the day, you’ll find a combination of European-inspired and local cuisine on offer here, which can be enjoyed indoors or outside if al fresco is your preference.

There’s also the poolside Terrace restaurant and bar, showcasing classic Italian dishes, plus sandwiches and pizzas.  Straits & Co Cafe and Delhi serves British-Malay cuisine and is an ideal venue for a cooling smoothie or iced coffee and sweet treat.

It’s hard to find a more intimate spot to watch the sun go down than The Deck, open for light bites and classic cocktails from late afternoon in to the balmy evening or if you’re celebrating a special occasion, book private dining on the beach one evening.

Rooms

The 125 spacious rooms and suites with en-suite rainfall showers and baths feature a natural colour scheme with dark wood.  The King category also boast four-poster beds whilst twins are also available.   All rooms have balconies with either sea and pool, courtyard, rainforest or marina views whilst those on the top floor showcase private terraces with sun-loungers.  Suites with separate lounges are all available for those seeking additional space as well as those with multiple bedrooms.

For those ocean lovers amongst you, consider booking a Beach Villa with private pool and floor to ceiling windows to make the most of the views over the Andaman Sea.  They even have their own spa treatment areas!
