Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa

From the crackling fires and cosy sofas in the welcoming lobby to the well-informed and exceptionally helpful staff the Teton Mountain Lodge and Spa feels like a real home away from home.

Its central Teton village location and option of spacious self catering suites makes it a great choice for families – without the price tag of other local hotels. The onsite Spur Restaurant is excellent and the luxury SpaTerra has been voted the best in Wyoming. At the end of a hard day’s outdoor adventure 2 pools and a huge rooftop hot tub with stunning views await.

Facilities & Activities

The lodge has plenty of beautifully maintained facilities to ease aching muscles at the end of a long day’s adventuring. You could take a dip in the outdoor heated pool and wonder at the mountain view, pop to the indoor pool or one of five hot tubs including the huge roof top jacuzzi complete with stunning vista.

The hotel’s SpaTerre Spa has been voted the number one spa in Wyoming by Conde Nast Traveller magazine – and for good reason. It boasts some really interesting treatments including a non-invasive facelift, chocolate pedicure and children’s manicure. The spa’s luxury facilities also include a tranquillity lounge, steam showers and state of the art fitness centre.

The fantastic concierge service here really comes into its own when you come to choose from the almost overwhelming range of outdoor activities available nearby. Their attention to detail and local knowledge will save you valuable time and effort. Whether you’d like to try your hand at fly fishing for the first time, continue your love affair with rock climbing, find a family hiking or mountain bike trail to suit all ages or sign up to a wildlife safari in one of the national parks they have all the details you will need.

Dining

The hotel’s stylish and cosy Spur Restaurant is a real draw for both residents and locals. The head chef has been named best executive chef in a local poll several years running and sources excellent products to produce a modern twist on traditional mountain food.

Vegetarians are well catered for and many menu options are gluten free. In the summer months make the most of the view by eating on the scenic outdoor patio. We think you’ll love the generous breakfast buffet too which, with plenty of hearty hot choices plus lighter options, caters for all tastes – and sizes of appetite.

Rooms

There are more than 145 rooms and suites on offer that we think you’ll find spacious, stylish and plush. Nearly all have gas fireplaces and many have balconies with wonderful mountain or valley views.

The excellent variety of options – from One-bedroom Suites to Slpine Studios and lodges – means there’s something for the romantic couple through to the larger family gathering.

Many have kitchens stocked with great finishing touches like good sized wine glasses and coffee machines allowing you the convenience of being able to self cater for some or all of your trip.

The little details here make all the difference; many bathrooms have jacuzzis, plush bathrobes, under floor heating and complimentary large refillable bottles of toiletries. Large flat screened TVs and high speed WiFi access come as standard.

Family

Children of every age are made to feel very welcome here. There’s a children’s menu in the Spur Restaurant and youngsters are encouraged to enjoy the pools. Portable playpens are available as are children’s games, books and a Playstation. Babysitters are available for a fee and there is even a summer day camp in the village for children aged 6 months to 17 years.

The option to self cater in some the rooms here makes this a particularly family – and wallet – friendly choice. Most rooms have either fridges or well equipped kitchens and groceries can be picked up at local shops or even ordered to your door.

The room choice for families ranges from simple lodge rooms sleeping up to 4 in a room through to One to Three-bedroom Suites and Penthouses which can fit up to 12 guests.

There are many accommodation options, so just let us know how many are in your party and we will find the perfect fit for you!

Location

Set in the heart of Teton village the Teton Mountain Lodge and Spa is just yards from the bottom of the Aerial Tram from where you can ride right to the top of the Rendezvous Mountain that towers more than 10,000 feet over the resort. You are a mile from the entrance to Grand Teton National Park – where you can start your wilderness adventures – and just an hour’s drive from Yellowstone National Park. On hot days children will love cooling down nearby in the town’s fun splash area.

Getting to Teton is surprisingly hassle-free – you’re just a 35-minute drive from Jackson Hole Airport which is serviced by Delta and United Airlines year round.

Jackson Hole itself – an authentic cowboy town – is just a 20-minute bus or taxi drive away. We think you’ll love its cowboy saloons, classic western restaurants and twice-weekly rodeo. It has a healthy arts scene and interesting boutiques too.
