Eastern Cape
Sibuya Game Reserve

Sibuya Game Reserves offers a distinctive wilderness experience in Eastern Cape, thanks to its unique setting on a river estuary that flows into the Indian Ocean.

The 3 camps and 1 sole-use camp offer a rustic, adventurous safari experience where adults and children alike can be kept entertained!

Facilities & Activities

Sibuya Reserve prides itself on offering something unique compared to other safari experiences across South Africa.

Along with 4×4 daily game drives and night drives, each drive starts with a boat cruise along the estuary to meet up with your game vehicle. Birding is fabulous here and if you not keen on an afternoon snooze – you can canoe / kayak down the river, try your hand at fishing, or join the family for a swim in the warm estuary.

Game walks are offered in a separate safe area away from the Big 5, where you can enjoy walks through the thick shrubbery whilst bird spotting (please note the lions also don’t roam free).

Spa treatments are also offered at an additional charge as well as horse riding – beginners get to trot up the beach, whilst more experienced riders can venture into the reserve.
