Four restaurant choices range from causal beachfront bites at Trapizza, an Italian eatery located on Siloso Beach just a 5-minute stroll from the resort, to all-you-can-eat indulgence at the Silver Shell Café, guaranteed to keep the hungriest of teens satisfied!

8 Noodles serves piping hot bowls of noodles and traditional Cantonese-style roast meats in a cosy setting with a nod to the traditional 1960s Chinese noodle houses. Casserole offers a global culinary journey with specialities from Southeast Asia, Morocco, India and the West, all served casserole-style.

For sundowners and after dinner drinks there are also 2 bars to choose from. The Siloso Beach Bar is the perfect spot to refuel after an energetic morning in the pool and we’re sure the younger family members will delight in the delicious milkshake flavours from Bubble Gum to Crème Brulee!


454 elegant rooms and suites, most with balconies, overlook the surrounding hills, sea, pools or gardens. Most rooms can accommodate up to 3 people sharing with the addition of a rollaway bed. Ideal for families, the Family Garden Rooms have a sofa bed suitable for 2 children sharing and the ground floor location offers easy access to the swimming pools and gardens.

The spacious Terrace Pool View Rooms boast an extended balcony with ample space for sunbathing and outdoor dining overlooking the lush gardens and pool. The Suites are larger still with a separate living room and glorious views across the South China Sea.

This resort is a tropical playground for families! If you can entice the kids off the waterslides, head over to Nestopia, a unique outdoor play space on Siloso Beach. Embark on an exhilarating adventure through 17 play sections with netted obstacle courses connecting 3 giant nests and 2 of the longest slides on Sentosa island.

Back at the resort, The Cool Zone offers fun for children up to 12 years with various activity centres, including the Toots Club and Mini Toots Club. Supervised by an experienced and energetic team there are daily themed activities and a giant treehouse slide. Younger children under 4 years old have their own dedicated space at the Mini Toots Club and can enjoy a jungle-themed adventure under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

Sentosa’s restaurants are very family friendly with children’s menus available and there are dedicated ground floor Family Rooms available with a sofa bed suitable for 2 children sharing.

The Shangri-la Rasa Sentosa celebrate World Environment Day and World Ocean Day with beach and underwater clean ups and on Earth Day the hotel hosted a fun children’s craft session using plastic water bottles, newspapers and other material to educate the younger guests (and their parents!) on the importance of recycling and reusing products.
