Kruger National Park

In an area studded with dams that attract large herds of game, and traversing more than 10 000 hectares of prime bushveld, a Savanna safari provides exceptional opportunities to see the ‘Big 5’ as well as cheetah, wild dog, hippo, crocodile, together with an abundance of general game and over 400 bird species.

Experience the luxury of one of the 9 magnificent suites offering luxurious accommodation, many of which have tented roofs, blending the elegance of a by-gone colonial era with all the convenience of modern facilities.

Gourmet dining is an essential component of the Savanna safari experience. Their delicious breakfast & lunch buffets are of the highest standard, with emphasis on quality & presentation.

Candle-lit dinners, with traditional local dishes adding spice to the best international fare, are served on the deck of the main lodge. On mild nights, sumptuous barbecues are enjoyed under the stars round a blazing fire in an open-air ‘boma’ or in a candle-lit clearing in the bush. Dinner is complimented by award winning wines, imported and local, from Savanna’s well-stocked wine cellar.

Twice a week dinner is served in the old Selati Railway Carriage which adds a unique dining experience to your safari stay.

There are 3 Executive and 4 Luxury Suites nestled amid indigenous trees offering a unique ‘Out of Africa’ experience with canvas roofs above draped ceilings set on permanent structures.
