Dining

Belmond Hotel Rio Sagrado treats you to inspired Peruvian cuisine using the freshest produce, often directly from the garden.

El Huerto Restaurant – fresh and imaginative local dishes in a sophisticated candlelit setting, open daily 6am – 10pm.

El Jardin – alfresco lunches, surrounded by the inspiring scenery of the Sacred Valley, open daily 12pm – 2pm.

El Huerto Bar – wines, spirits and cocktails in a charming wood and stone bar overlooking the Urubamba River, open daily 10:30am – 10:00pm.

Rooms

Rooms, suites and villas, constructed from natural stone and wood, seamlessly blend European luxury with Peruvian spirit. All offer plush king-sized beds, luxury Swiss-style bathrooms and private terraces, many with adjoining gardens. There are a choice of accommodation options, including Deluxe Terrace Rooms, Garden Junior Suites as well as Villa Capulí and Villa Orquídea.

The Villa Capuli with 3 en-suite bedrooms, living area and kitchen has riverfront access and features local artwork and textiles, as well as under-floor heating and spacious bathrooms with rain-head showers. Relax on the terrace, admiring the beautifully landscaped gardens and listening to the roaring Urubamba River. Upon request a personal housekeeper is available.

Children are welcome here and there are some great accommodation options for families.

The Junior Suites are larger and the 2 3-Bedroom Villas are ideal for families of 4 or more. The swimming pool is bound to be a big draw and younger children will love feeding the baby alpaca’s at breakfast. The hotel can recommend activities and tours to suit.
