Siem Reap and The Temples
Park Hyatt Siem Reap
This art-deco style gem in the heart of charismatic Siem Reap offers a unique base from which to explore all this fascinating area has to offer. A haven of ancient Khmer architecture, contemporary sleek lines and one of the only central luxury hotels in the town itself, it is within easy walking distance of the colourful markets and just a few miles from the world-famous temples in Angkor Wat.
However, a warning; your children’s memories of the ancient temples might be overshadowed by their memories of the extraordinary array of ice cream on offer in the French Parlour!

Facilities & Activities
The facilities are stunning here; from the tranquil library that serves afternoon tea, to the two pools – one a collection of free-form lagoon pools connected by a small bridge, and a smaller salt-water swimming pool that is ideal for a family splosh after temple discoveries. All around are lush gardens with plenty of quiet private corners to relax in peace. There is also a gym and a plush spa offering local treatments. In the evening, enjoy the free traditional Apsara dance performances in the hotel’s central courtyard whilst savouring dinner or a cocktail.

Dining
The flag-ship restaurant, the Dining Room, offers delicious Cambodian and French dishes while the swish, airy Living Room serves up high teas and light lunches or makes a great spot for a sundowner under the fans. The Glass House Deli-Patisserie next door, also open to the public, will be a great hit with the kids; choose from a smorgasbord of ice-creams and toppings or simply settle in with a huge wedge of cake.
Rooms
All king and twin rooms are spacious, bright and elegant with opulent bathrooms oozing luxury with sparkling white Italian marble. The 13 spacious suites offer an additional private garden or plunge pool for those ‘templed-out’ guests to flop in peace.

Sustainability
Park Hyatt Siem Reap is deeply committed to their culture of care – for guests, staff and the environment. They take the extra mile to ensure all Food and Beverage resources are thoughtfully outsourced. They actively support NGOs for the collection of used soaps and glass bottles for recycling as well as used cooking oil to be repurposed as biofuel.
