Overlooking the pristine sands of Santa Monica’s Muscle Beach and the Pacific beyond, the hotel’s beautiful outdoor pool complete with expansive 2 tier decks and Jacuzzi is a great area for indulging in a spot of complete relaxation. Wonderful extras here include Evian Mist, chilled fruit and tropical smoothies thanks to the hotel’s signature Poolside Pampering.
The onsite Fitness Centre offers the latest in equipment, technology and steam rooms and dry saunas. Charges apply for the fitness centre, but we guarantee you will leave feeling renewed and rejuvenated.
With 3.5 miles of well-maintained beach at your disposal there are plenty of opportunities to swim, surf, fish and try your hand at volleyball. Skates, rollerblades and bikes are available to rent too – a great way to explore the local area. Dining
Soak up the views of the iconic Santa Monica Pier at Blue Streak, the hotel’s poolside eatery. It is open from 7am until 10pm and offers an array of drinks, snacks, smoothies and savoury main courses which can be enjoyed by the pool or one of thirteen ocean front fire pits. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
For freshly brewed coffee and delicious on the go snacks, head to For Five Coffee Roasters which is open daily from 6am.
Room service is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Rooms
The hotel boasts 347 chic and spacious guest rooms and suites, many with ocean views and some with private terraces. Rooms have cool colour schemes and are furnished in a contemporary Californian style. All have oversized flat screen TVs and free WiFi.
Rooms are offered with either 2 queen size beds or a king size bed and come in a variety of options. The most basic room option, the Standard Room, comes without an ocean view. Ocean View Terrace Rooms with gorgeous Pacific views and patio, Poolside Cabana Rooms, offering the best access to the pool, your own private patio and fire pit and finally Ocean Front Fire Pit rooms – beach level rooms with fire pits and furnished terraces.
The hotel’s fabulous suites come in 7 different varieties, but all are spacious with remarkable ocean views. Options include the Ocean Front Suites with postcard-like views of the Pacific and small step out balcony, Fire Pit Suites, beach level with fire pits and furnished terraces and Boho Terrace Luxury Suites with furnished patio.
The Santa Monica Luxury Suite is more beach house than hotel room with a residential living area and 4 step-out balconies, the Pacifica Luxury Suite is open-plan with magnificent views and 3 step out balconies and finally the penthouse-inspired Sunset Presidential Suite has a furnished sundeck with fire pit, Pacific Ocean views, sitting room, dining room for 6 and a bar.

Children of all ages are welcome at the hotel. There are also specially designed Kidbanas, offering shade and a cosy retreat, by the pool. The hotel also provides children’s menus and babysitting is available for an additional cost.
The Loews Loves Kids programme offers unique services and Santa Monica activities designed to keep your children healthy and happy including special clubs and camps, though costs may apply. The Loews Loves Teens option offers similar age appropriate activities for those hard-to-please teenage guests.
Accommodation-wise children can share in rooms with 2 double beds. Alternatively most room types, as well as some suites with rooms, can interconnect, although this is not guaranteed.

Location
Located within easy walking distance of a number of fantastic Santa Monica attractions, such as Palisades Park and the historic Santa Monica Pier, the hotel is ideally situated for exploring the surrounding area.
Guests here are also just a 20-minute drive from Los Angeles International Airport and a short drive from Beverly Hills, Century City and West LA. Parking is available at the hotel for $40 per night. There is also a rental car agency in the hotel lobby, allowing guests to collect their hire cars directly from the hotel.
