Iberá Wetlands
Puerto Valle Hotel de Esteros

Puerto Valle de Esteros is located in the northwestern corner of the Iberá National Park, a unique eco-system consisting of swamps and wetlands, and is the first sustainable luxury lodge in this part of Argentina.

Located on a former estancia, Puerto Valle Hotel is set on the banks of the Paraná River in beautiful gardens. A swimming pool and shaded loungers overlooking the river offer you an inviting place to relax in the heat of the day.

Facilities & Activities

Your stay at Puerto Valle Hotel de Esteros includes a variety of guided activities on the Paraná River, the surrounding wetlands and the historic estancia. You can choose a boat safari where you can spot the native wildlife such as capybaras, caimans, armadillo, parrots, toucans, red howler monkeys and even elusive pumas and jaguars. For more active adventures try kayaking and horse riding along the river, or bikes are available if you wish to cycle through the scenic landscapes of Puerto Valle’s private reserve.

The lodge also offers 4×4 excursions into the Iberá Wetlands and National Park (30 min drive from the lodge), where you can have an even more in depth Argentine ‘safari’ experience and will be treated to a private boat trip amongst sunbathing caiman and sundowners at the edge of the wetlands with capybara at your feet.

If you are looking for a little time for relaxation, there is a swimming pool with views over the Paraná River.

The activity program will be provided at check-in. All activities are subject to weather conditions and if they cannot be carried out due to adverse weather they will be replaced with other activities.
