Facilities & Activities
Relaxation is the mainstay of the agenda when visiting Kasbah Tamadot. Take a dip in the indoor or outdoor infinity pool or work up an appetite playing tennis, table tennis or working out in the gym. For a much slower pace indulge in a spa treatment or traditional Moroccan Hammam in the Asonfou Spa or meander around the fragrant gardens, curl up in front of the fireplace in the salon or star gaze through the telescope.

Dining
With its intimate fireside bar and breath-taking terrace views, the stunning Kanoun Restaurant serves delicious local and international cuisine. The food combines local and international flavours, with home grown herbs and vegetables from the Kasbah Tamadot gardens. Dine al fresco around the candle lit pool, under the stars on the rooftop terrace or at a hidden-away spot just for two.
Rooms
Each of the stunning 29 rooms and suites, including 11 Berber-style tents, has been individually decorated and all reflect the spirit and traditional charm of Moroccan design whilst retaining tasteful contemporary elements. The result is an ambience of luxurious serenity with a hint of the exotic. Recently six new two-bedroom riads have been added. These will be connected by a separate living area to cater for families and small groups.
The rooms, all with amazing views, are superbly equipped with a well-stocked mini bar, bottled water, safety deposit box, hairdryer, hair straighteners, plug adapters, umbrellas, sunhats and complimentary Moroccan slippers (babouches).
The extensive grounds are thoughtfully designed with intriguing staircases, peaceful courtyards and landscaped gardens to explore. Employing local staff from the surrounding villages, Kasbah Tamadot gives guests a sense of staying in a Moroccan home rather than a hotel.

Family
Children aged from 0-11 years are welcomed during the Easter, Summer and Christmas Holidays as well as October Half Term (please enquire for exact dates). A range of activities, spacious accommodation and attentive service ensures happy kids and relaxed parents as a result.
The more private superior suites are the best option for families, with a sitting area and plenty of room for a roll-away bed whilst there are now also new two bedroom riads for those seeking more space.
Sustainability
Kasbah Tamadot and Virgin Unite (the Virgin Group’s entrepreneurial foundation) work hand in hand to improve living standards in the communities around the property. This effort is spearheaded by Eve Branson, known to us as Richard’s mum!
The Eve Branson Foundation supports several local craft workshops, who sell their wares in the on-site gift shop; 30% of the profits goes back to the community, too.
Location
Kasbah Tamadot is located in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, approximately 1-hour’s drive from the centre of Marrakech.
The hotel sits 1,320m above sea level and overlooks a beautiful valley. On a clear day you can see Mount Toubkal, the Atlas’ highest peak. The nearest village is Asni which is particularly worth visiting on Saturday for the weekly market.
