The onsite spa also offers therapeutic massage, body treatments and wellness therapies. There is also a sumptuous lounge with sea views and a gift shop, should you wish to take away some memories of your trip to this delightful spot.
If you like to carry on your fitness regime when you’re away from home the hotel also offers a fitness centre plus a running track.
Visitors have a number of options for getting up close to the marine life now thriving in Monterey Bay. The hotel’s private boardwalk and pier extends out over the Bay, with rectangular cut-outs in the floor, providing peeks directly down to the teeming underwater world of the National Marine Sanctuary. Harbour cruises and whale-watching tours and of course the nearby aquarium are also on offer.
Those who wish to venture further afield could try walking or cycling part of the Monterey Bay Coastal Recreation Trail or diving, kayaking, rock pooling or relaxing on Monterey’s beautiful beaches. The area’s wonderful wine region is also waiting to be explored.

Dining
The hotel’s award-winning C Restaurant is an oceanfront eatery with floor-to-ceiling windows and outdoor patio, both offering stunning ocean views. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, it offers California coastal cuisine using the freshest seafood, Angus beef and local organic produce.
The C Bar offers a selection of appetisers, small bites and an extensive selection of local wines, plus a Champagne menu. The bar’s Pacific Courtyard has beautiful ocean views and 2 fire pits, creating an intimate atmosphere.
The hotel’s private dining area, The Library, can accommodate up to 24 people.
Rooms
All of the 208 rooms and 12 luxury suites feature stylish décor, beautiful furnishings, large flat screen TVs, wireless internet, coffee maker, minibar and a marble bathroom with bathrobes, soaker tub and separate walk-in shower.
There are several different rooms types available that can be made up with 2 double beds or a king bed. Some rooms have partial ocean views.

Location
The hotel is located on Cannery Row overlooking Monterey Bay in Monterey, California. The area, which was previously the site of a number of sardine canning factories, was made famous by the classic American novelist John Steinbeck in his novel Cannery Row. Following the collapse of the local fishing industry in the 1950s the area has now been regenerated and features a vibrant scene of restaurants, bars, shops and tourist activities.
The National Marine Sanctuary in Monterey Bay is encouraging the protection of local marine life and is now home to a large resurgent population of sea lions, among other species. Visitors here can enjoy a wealth of activities related to the local marine wildlife including whale spotting tours.
The hotel is about an 90-minutes from San Jose International Airport and 2-hours from San Francisco International Airport.
