Dining
Dining Room & Bar – The restaurant and adjacent terraces were built as a large glass house with an exceptional view of the Vilcanota River and the surrounding green mountains.
- BREAKFAST: 5:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
- LUNCH: 11:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- TEA TIME: 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- COCKTAIL HOUR: 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- DINNER: 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Café Inkaterra features an intimate setting overlooking the Vilcanota River. It is the ideal place for travellers to unwind, far from the crowds, after visiting the ancient Machu Picchu Citadel and wait for their train after check out.

With tranquil views of the private garden, the expansive marble bathrooms offer an indoor and open-air shower.

Children are welcome at the hotel. For younger children cots, high chairs and children’s menus are available, and there is a babysitting service if you crave a grown up evening meal. There are child-friendly excursions, too, accompanied by friendly local guides, ideal for children aged 6 years and upwards.
Sustainability
Twice a month they take youngsters of limited economic means to Machu Picchu, they felt it was a great opportunity to engage with their communities while promoting local culture and identity. The heart of each activity is the desire to create opportunities for local people, give children the best possible chance of a great future and safeguard the beautiful environment for generations to come.
Location
The hotel is in Aguas Calientes at 2,450 meters (8,038 ft.) above sea level, located in a private 5-hectare mountainside reserve.
It is 20-minutes drive from Machu Picchu by shuttle bus and about 4-hours by train from Cusco.
