Dining

Breakfast here is a lavish experience. There is a good range of delicious foods to suit every taste; from fresh fruit, cakes and pastries, plump sausages and tender bacon in the buffet to made-to-order specials from the Chef’s Selection.

For formal dining there is The Woods, an adventurous open restaurant which features creative menus that centre around the use of fresh produce cooked over a range of Australian woods in the restaurant’s wood-fired oven and grill.

If you are in the mood for something lighter, try The Cabana by the pool. This is the ideal place for a quick bite to eat; you can lounge by the pool and indulge yourself in delicious sushi, sandwiches, salad or even a cocktail!

Grain is the hotel’s stylish bar and also offers lunch and bar snacks. If you prefer a more casual meal, room service is available 24 hours. Of course, you can always venture out of the hotel and experience Sydney’s world-class food and wine scene!

Rooms

Decorated in a contemporary grand-luxe style, the 531 rooms – including 121 suites – are as wonderfully glamorous as the rest of the hotel. Large and spacious, they all have exquisite views of the city, opera or harbour. Furnished with rich silks and exotic mahogany wood, each room has an LCD television with DVD player and iPod docking station, and high speed internet access. The luxurious decor continues into the marble bathrooms.

The Deluxe and Premier City Rooms can be configured as a king-size double or a twin room. The Premier Rooms also have an open plan lounge/bedroom whilst the Suites have separate bedrooms and living areas.

Family

Four Seasons Sydney is a great base for visiting the area with children, they will love seeing the famous icons from their room and as well as the Zoo and Museums there are so many great beaches in the city, it’s hard to choose which one to visit.

The hotel welcomes families of all shapes and sizes and is very happy to help with any requests to meet the needs of younger guests. For very small children, that means everything from providing travel cots and complimentary milk at bedtime, to changing mats and child-sized dressing gowns.

A children’s menu is available in the restaurants and in-room dining, but if you fancy a night off, there are babysitters available.

Suites with separate bedrooms and connecting rooms are available for larger families if required, and there is no additional charge for children aged 12 years and under if they are sharing the same room. Extra beds are available for older children can be supplied for an additional charge.

Location

The hotel overlooks Sydney Harbour, just a short stroll from major shopping areas and museums, theatres and the Sydney Opera House. Ferries take you across the water to more key attractions, such as the Sydney Aquarium and Taronga Park Zoo.

The Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport is about a 25 minute drive from the hotel and secure valet parking is also available.
