Surrounded by tropical gardens, the spring-fed swimming pool is ideal for a refreshing dip with secluded decks and shaded verandas where guests can sunbathe and enjoy the magnificent vistas.
If you want to read up on the local wildlife and culture, head to the charming library which is stocked with fiction and reference books. It also offers cable TV and a large collection of DVDs should a film-evening appeal.
The Finca has an organic coffee farm with plantation tours twice a day while for blissful indulgence the small spa offers a host of treatments from relaxing massages to organic coffee body scrubs.

Dining
El Tigre Vestido & Bar Búho enjoy amazing views of the Central Valley from their expansive decks. Each morning a delicious breakfast is served with freshly brewed organic coffee grown on the farm and succulent fresh fruit and vegetables from the restaurant’s own organic gardens and orchards. Finca Rosa Blanca raise their own free-range chickens to provide you with fresh eggs daily (children are welcome to visit and help collect the eggs!)
Enjoy Latin Fusion cuisine at mealtimes, cooked with fresh ingredients that bring alive traditional Costa Rican and Central American dishes. The elegant dinners are set around the inviting fireplace or on the open-air terrace with twinkling lights that illuminate the Central Valley below.

Finca Rosa Blanca offers a range of accommodation options, each unique and very individual in style with handcrafted furniture, colourful hand-painted murals and original artwork throughout.
The Rosa Blanca Suite is one of our favourites – a stunning duplex with the sleeping area occupying a tower 40-ft above the ground. The stairs to the bedroom wrap around an old tree trunk but once at the top you’ll be rewarded with a 360-degree view of the surrounding countryside!

Finca Rosa Blanca welcomes children of all ages although there are no specific facilities.
Some Junior Suites connect to form a Villa which is perfect for larger families or those that seek more space, sleeping up to 6 people.
For dining the Tigre Vestido restaurant offers special children’s menus for lunch and dinner and will accommodate younger children with an early dinner if required.
Sustainability
Finca Rosa Blanca is a family-run inn which since the very beginning has been committed to sustainable travel. They practice organic agriculture, both in the coffee fields and restaurant gardens, plant trees to help mitigate climate change (7,000+ of them so far!) and only employ local people.
Location
Set in 9 acres, nestled amidst papaya, mango and coffee trees, this country inn is only a half hour drive from the airport but a world away from the hustle and bustle of San José which twinkles at night in the valley below.
