At Elivi family fun comes built in. Spend lazy mornings splashing in the sparkling pools or head down to one of the three beaches: Koukounaries, Ambelakia and Big Banana. Each offers its own little slice of paradise with calm, crystal-clear waters for paddling and snorkelling, plenty of comfy loungers and a relaxed beachside restaurant for when you need a break from the sun. Guests also have direct access Little Banana beach, which is just round the headland but do bear in mind it’s nudist-friendly!
For active families, there’s no shortage of ways to burn off energy. Try kayaking or paddleboarding, enjoy a family tennis match or a workout in the fully equipped gym. Nature lovers can explore the scenic walking trails that wind through pine forests and along the coast.
Afternoons might be spent relaxing in the gardens, indulging in a spa treatment or taking a boat trip to a secret cove. Skiathos Town with its cobbled shopping streets is just a 25 min taxi ride from the Elivi or you can hop on the public bus or shuttle boat from Koukounaries beach. The town comes alive in the evening with a plethora of buzzing bars and restaurants.
For those wanting to explore further afield, a spot of island hopping is easy with regular ferries running between Skiathos to Skopelos, the island made famous as the filming location for Mamma Mia!

Dining
Start the day with a lavish buffet breakfast which can be enjoyed in one of 2 restaurants: Xenia Breakfast Restaurant in the main hotel or the Nest Restaurant. While for lunch, beachside venues serve crisp salads, grilled seafood, and light Mediterranean plates along with plenty of kiddie-approved favourites, perfect between swims.
As evening falls, elegant à la carte restaurants invite you to savour gourmet creations inspired by Greek tradition and global cuisine, paired with fine wines. Leda & The Swan is the traditional Greek restaurant with outdoor dining amongst the olive and pine trees and occasional live music. Hagoromo offers the opportunity to explore and enjoy flavours from around Asia, while La Trattoria Delicata serves traditionally prepared pizza and pasta dishes in a relaxed pool-side setting.
Rooms
Light and airy, the rooms and suites at Elivi are designed for pure island indulgence with sleek furnishings, plush bedding, and modern comforts, many with private pools, hot tubs, or spacious terraces overlooking the sea or pine-covered hills.
Rooms are located in 3 distinct areas. Elivi Xenia is a 2-storey building attached to the main hotel with easy access to Skiathos’ famous Koukounaries Beach. Part of the original building, the rooms have been re-designed to include the latest technology while keeping a 1960s flair.
The Grace Rooms & Suites overlook Ambelakia Beach and combine modern design with breathtaking sea views from large verandas.
On the other side of the headland, the Nest Grove Rooms & Suites are surrounded by lush greenery, offering a sense of seclusion with easy access to Big Banana Beach. Golf carts are on call to whisk you between the different resort areas.
Whichever you choose, every room blends contemporary style with natural materials, creating a calm, luxurious retreat after a full-filled day in the sun.
Family
Although there are no dedicated family facilities or kids clubs, Elivi is the perfect Greek Island escape for all ages and stages with safe, sandy beaches, family rooms with hot tubs and pools, and warm welcoming staff.
Families and larger groups can opt for interconnecting rooms, two-bedroom suites or private villas, complete with generous living spaces, fully equipped kitchens and direct beach access.
