Nestled in a stunning setting at the foot of the Marble Range Mountains this luxurious all inclusive ranch resort and spa offers guests all the fun of the authentic outdoor life with plenty of pampering thrown in.
The welcome here is personal and friendly – family style meals are taken together in an open kitchen and with only 20 rooms and suites across 2 lodges the environment is intimate. Though 10 plus only the ranch does welcome families. With everything from hiking, riding, fly-fishing and gold panning to choose, there’s much for families with older children to be kept busy.

In addition to riding, guest can take part in wilderness survival course, teaching skills such as scavenging for edible plans in the wilds of British Columbia! The ranch is also a mecca for mountain biking and hiking, or for those wishing to improve their ‘eye’ how a spot of archery or target shooting? Fly fishing is an option for a peaceful afternoon or try some of the wellness activities focused around mindfulness.
The two world-class spas proudly feature a variety of soothing and exclusive treatments offering a blend of classic European and authentic Thai therapies. There’s also a geothermally heated indoor pool for relaxing in all weathers.

Dining
Gourmet breakfast, lunch and dinner are served around a communal table here lending a fantastic atmosphere to your stay at the ranch. All meals plus a glass of wine or beer and soft drinks are included in your package.
Many of the ingredients used by the Master Chef are grown or raised at the ranch, including berries, mushrooms, vegetables, fruits and meat from cattle, pigs, turkeys and chickens. Guests can even learn new culinary skills thanks to regular demonstrations by the Master Chef and cookery lessons are available should you wish.
Breakfast and lunch are relaxed buffet style affairs, whilst at dinner, guests can select from menus tailored to their preferences. Individual tables may be set out for dinner if guests wish.
There are Tuesday and Friday night barbecues in the summer months that the ranch’s working cowboys usually attend – perfect for stargazing and sharing tales around the campfire.
Rooms
All of the 20 rooms available are of an excellent standard, with luxurious private bathrooms, rustic-chic interiors and native art.
Standard rooms are situated in the Dove Lodge, at the heart of the ranch and have one queen or twin beds.
Premium rooms are located in the Lookout Lodge. They have one king size or queen size bed and some rooms have sleeping lofts for additional accommodation for children.
Unique cabins are dotted around the ranch that offer guests even more privacy. The Log Studio, also known as the Honeymoon Cabin, is the most secluded of these and features a queen size bed and an adjoining open living area.
The one bedroom cabins are equipped with king size beds in a separate bedroom and have a cosy living space with fireplace.
The Ranch Suite offers spectacular views of Mount Bowman and features two separate bedrooms, each having a private bathroom, as well as a sleeping loft.
The Thai themed Royal Suite overlooks the whole ranch and has a private rooftop terrace. It has a handmade king size bed, spacious living area and state-of-the-art ensuite with steam shower.

Family
The ranch has a minimum age of 10 but this is also the age at which they can participate in ranch activities.
Activities for children include guided family nature walks, trail riding, lasso and horseshoe throwing lessons, fly fishing, scavenger hunts with prizes and kids and teens movie nights. Younger guests can also help tend to the farm animals and will particularly enjoy the company of the ranch’s friendly border collies.
Some of the premium rooms in the Lookout Lodge feature cathedral ceilings with sleeping lofts, making them ideal for families. Several of the cabins also offer families more room to stretch out thanks to their extra living space – the Ranch Suite with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms plus a sleeping loft is ideal for larger families.
Sustainability
Echo Valley describes itself as an ‘eco-luxury ranch’ and are committed to being active and environmentally conscious stewards of their land, making environmental decisions in day-to-day operation, practicing zero waste in their food acquisition with much of the produce used being raised and grown on site and production and moving towards carbon neutrality. Their efforts have been externally approved with a comprehensive assessment award them the sustainable tourism gold award. They have also taken the sustainable tourism 2030 pledge. The ranch possesses two self-sustaining geothermal systems that heat major installations, water is sourced from on-site natural springs and a biodegradable sanitation system recycles waste fluids into organic fertilisers.
Location
Located in the interior mountains of British Columbia 270 miles North East of Vancouver, the ranch sits in 160 acres, amongst mountain ranges, canyons, forests and grasslands.
It is easily accessible by road, or guests can land at the ranch’s own Airport by private charter plane. Direct 10 hour flights are available from the UK to Vancouver. The drive from Vancouver to the resort takes between 5 – 6 hours.
