Dining is at the heart of the Boschendal experience, with several excellent venues spread across the estate.

Arum offers a refined dining experience showcasing seasonal ingredients and the estate’s culinary heritage, while The Deli serves relaxed farm-style breakfasts, lunches and dinners beneath the oak trees. Guests can also enjoy the popular Werf Picnics, featuring seasonal produce and locally sourced artisanal treats, or browse the Farm Shop & Butchery for freshly baked goods, cheeses, charcuterie and produce grown on the estate itself.

Wine tastings and carefully curated food-and-wine pairings further highlight Boschendal’s reputation as one of the Cape Winelands’ leading food destinations.

Rooms

Accommodation at Boschendal is thoughtfully scattered across the expansive estate, allowing guests to choose a setting that best suits their style of stay. Options range from elegant Werf Garden Suites and beautifully restored Cape Dutch cottages to spacious historic farmhouses, exclusive-use villas and luxury self-catering residences, each offering an authentic connection to the surrounding Winelands.

One of Boschendal’s biggest draws is its collection of self-catering accommodation, perfect for families and longer stays. The Orchard Cottages are scattered amongst the orchards and sleep between two and eight guests, with access to a large shared swimming pool.

The charming Werf Garden Cottages sit close to the heart of the estate and offer studio and suite-style accommodation within walking distance of the restaurants and farm attractions. For greater privacy, the fully self-catering Farmhouses provide beautifully restored historic homes with modern interiors, allowing guests to enjoy an authentic Winelands experience with complete flexibility.  The exclusive Mountain Villa and historic Cottage 1685 provide exceptional options for larger gatherings, combining privacy with spectacular valley views.

Whether enjoying a peaceful morning coffee overlooking the vineyards, relaxing beside a pool after a day exploring the estate, or gathering around the fire as the sun sets over the mountains, every stay is designed to immerse guests in the unhurried rhythm of life on one of South Africa’s most celebrated working wine estates.
