Family
Woodbury Tented Camp is a great choice for families with children aged six years and older, offering spacious family accommodation in the form of two adjoining safari tents connected by a shared wooden deck. This thoughtful layout gives parents and children their own space while remaining close together.
Families can enjoy the camp’s swimming pool between activities, while twice-daily game drives introduce younger safari-goers to the wildlife of Amakhala in an engaging and accessible way. Children aged six and above can join the scheduled game drives.
Sustainability

The camp follows responsible tourism practices, with a focus on minimising its environmental footprint through water conservation, energy-efficient operations and waste reduction measures. Beyond conservation, Woodbury and the wider Amakhala community support local employment, skills development and community upliftment projects, ensuring that tourism delivers meaningful benefits to both the environment and neighbouring communities.
