Favourite Destinations
South Africa still has to rank highest for unforgettable experiences and superb value for money. It’s hard to beat time in the Cape plus safari and a beach finish.

Favourite hotel
Sugar Beach, a Viceroy Resort, in St Lucia., and for more action and wildlife, Ant’s Nest in South Africa is very special.

Little-known fact
I love ‘A Place in the Sun’ but feel relieved I can balance time at home with travels further afield!

Emily, Worldwide Travel Consultant

Emily caught the travel bug at an early age so a career in the travel industry was the natural choice. She joins us from Trailfinders and brings with her a wealth of product knowledge having travelled widely for work and pleasure. With two little girls now in tow, she's looking forward to new family adventures.

Best beach
Anse Georgette in the Seychelles took my breath away. Clear turquoise waters, white sand and palm trees, all framed by huge granite boulders - simply stunning!

Most memorable holiday
India definitely stole a piece of my heart. I fell in love with the romance and beauty of Rajasthan’s fairy-tale forts and palaces, the warmth of the people and the amazing food!

Where next with tots in tow
I can’t wait to return to South Africa as a family. Oman is also high on the wish list and I’d love to see the gorillas in Rwanda.

Next famly holiday
Our 3rd trip to South Africa with Noah in tow for more wildlife firsts!

What I never travel without
My camera! I love having a record of my travels to share with family and friends.

My travel hero
Has to be David Attenborough - what a life he’s led!

Lops 425 x 425

Lops, Asia & Australasia Travel Manager

After a youth spent throwing herself out of aeroplanes, Lops eventually settled down as a solicitor – a vocation that ended with the arrival of the eldest of her three daughters. Her restless spirit eventually led Lops to Bushbaby. With an enviable travel record throughout Asia and Australasia Lops has recently visited Thailand and has a family holiday planned for Vietnam this year.

Most memorable holiday moment
When a flurry of tiny dolphins raced under our catamaran in the Atlantic - the look on my daughters’ faces was magical.

What I never travel without
A fold-out map and my Dad’s RAF-issue tin bullet case with all manner of useful things therein. Wherever I'm heading, that tin has most things covered.

Favourite thing to do on holiday
Watching my children’s faces. I love it when the sunshine has brought their freckles out and their heads are full of new sights and smells.

Most recent Bushbaby Holiday
A fabulous family holiday to Peru. We tried sand-boarding on the dunes in Huacachina, saw penguins in Paracas, experienced sunrise at Machu Picchu, snorkelled with turtles in Mancora and spotted caimans in the Amazon!

Most memorable wildlife encounter
All the incredible wildlife in the Galapagos - each day was more amazing than the last....

Travel Wish List
So many, but Namibia, New Zealand and the Northern Lights would probably top my list.

Katie 425 x 425

Katie, Departures Manager

Katie studied Travel & Tourism and worked in hospitality before having her two gorgeous girls. She caught the travel bug following a trip to South Africa, her mum’s birthplace. Married to a pilot, the family have enjoyed some amazing travel adventures. With relatives in Australia and Thailand, she is a pro at long-haul travel with children so we're thrilled she is now our super-efficient Departures Manager.

Most memorable wildlife encounter
Coming face-to-face with a grizzly bear and her cubs whilst in Great Bear Rainforest, British Columbia!

Best accommodation
Sleeping under the stars, enclosed by a circle of lanterns, in Tanzania’s Selous Reserve, a mile from where we’d seen a pride of lions. The following morning rangers brushed the sand outside the circle so we could see the fresh paw prints! Gulp.

Best holiday (according to the kids!)
Florida was my favourite! I loved meeting Mickey & the Princesses, swimming with dolphins, the roller-coasters & the magical world of Harry Potter! (Lottie, aged 9).

Alison 425 x 425

Alison, Finance Manager

As a busy mum of three, Alison is our finance queen and understands all too well the challenges of travelling with older children and teenagers. In between currency orders, payroll and book-keeping, she's recently enjoyed family adventures in South AfricaMauritius and Oman with Bushbaby.

Favourite hotel with teens in tow
Any that offers all-inclusive water-sports, food & drink!

Most memorable meal
Christmas lunch in Thailand at an all-you-can-eat buffet. We were the last to leave and definitely got our money's worth. In South Africa, we had a very special meal at Jaci's Lodge - they set up a table just for us by their huge open fire.

Most likely fore-runner for a Just Us holiday
My husband and I have always fancied a diving holiday in the Maldives...one day!
