• Watersports: Water sports and PADI diving centre offering windsurfing, waterskiing, Hobiecat sailing, kneeboard and banana boat rides and kayaks. The resort also has a purpose built coral reef 2 km off-shore.
• Wild Wadi Water Park: Guests are entitled to complimentary access to the Park which incorporates over 30 rides and attractions packed with thrills and spills.
• Land based Sports: Floodlit Tennis Courts (professional tuition available for a charge), Golf driving nets and putting facilities.
• Gym: The Pavilion Marina and Sports Club includes a full gymnasium, squash courts and operates fitness classes.

• La Veranda: A cosy al fresco pizzeria located by the beach with views of the bustling Dubai skyline both day and night.
• Waterfront: Located in the Marina and Sports Club enabling guests to enjoy a selection of healthy snacks, salads and drinks until mid-evening.
• The Apartment Lounge & Club: Open from 8:00 until late with music from the resident DJ.
• 360 degrees: Set out in the Gulf looking back to the city skyline, guests can sink in to oversized sofas whilst enjoying a sundowner.
• Uptown Bar: A cocktail bar set on the 24th floor showcasing spectacular views.
• Palm Court: An all-day venue serving afternoon tea or cocktails in the lobby area.
• Ocean Blue: As its name suggests, an ocean front bar also serving light snacks until early evening.
• Pool Bar: An ideal venue for a cooling drink until evening.
• Café Wadi: Offering a full all-day international menu but for the exclusive use of guests at Beit Al Bahar.

Overview

An outstanding variety of facilities within the hotel grounds has been created to keep children of all ages entertained. Should you need to venture further, guests also benefit from complimentary access to Wild Wadi Water Park including many child-friendly rides.

Looking after younger guests

• Toys and facilities of Sinbad’s Kids Club available during opening hours (please see below).
• Family adventure playground featuring raised walkways, swings, slides, climbing structures and tunnels.
• Further dedicated children’s areas are available for those families with access to the Premium Leisure Lounge.

Children’s Meals

• Children’s Menu available in many restaurants and Room Service. Children’s buffet also served at Latitude Restaurant.
• Bespoke Meals available on request.

Babysitting & Supervised activities

• Babysitting: Service can be arranged with advance notice.
• Sinbad Kid’s Club offers exciting activities for children age 2 – 4 years (3 hour morning, afternoon or evening session complimentary) and 5 – 12 years (9:00 am – 6:00 pm complimentary). Evening supervision is also available at the club from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
• Sports Activities: Tuition in activities including swimming and tennis available for children of most ages (for a charge).

Room types

598 rooms and suites all have spectacular views of the gulf, internet access, mini-bar facilities, safe and satellite TV with extensive channel options. Ocean Deluxe Rooms (50 square metres) are the standard room type with Ocean Deluxe Balcony Rooms also benefiting from a private balcony. Guests in Premium Leisure Club Rooms also have access to a private lounge serving breakfast, complimentary soft dinks, tea and canapés, as do all residents of the Suite types detailed below.

Ocean Junior Suites (105 square metres) and One Bedroom Ocean Suites (128 square metres) have private sun terraces and sitting/living area, with this facility being open plan in the former or a separate room in the latter. Two and Three Bedroom Ocean Suites (162/215 square metres) benefit from additional bedrooms and kitchenette. Those requiring even more space and luxury can consider the Beachcomber, Presidential and Royal Ocean Suites.

Beit Al Bahar provides 19 exclusive beachside villas, ideal for guests seeking a private hideaway. Featuring luxurious Bedouin style bedrooms, living rooms with high beamed roofs and private plunge pools, a stay here is unlikely to disappoint.

Family

• Up to 2 children under 12 can be accommodated with parents in all room types.
• One child age 12 plus can also share with adults.
• Two and Three Bedroom suites can accommodate larger families.
• Interconnecting rooms are available upon request but cannot be guaranteed.

Rates

Rates from £121 per night per adult sharing, inclusive of Bed & Breakfast in an Ocean View Room (valid 09/05/10 – 10/09/10).

Family

• Children under 4 years stay free of charge when sharing with parents, including breakfast.
• Children age 4 – 11 years stay free of charge paying a breakfast charge of £15. Please note only 1 extra bed will be provided. A second extra bed can be supplied but will be charged at £51.
• Children age 12 plus sharing charged third person rate from £84 to include breakfast.
• Children in their own room charged full adult rates.
